Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy, and with the attendance of numerous ministries, authorities, and companies from Saudi Arabia, the Gulf, and the world, the inauguration of the Energy Supply Localization Forum was held in Riyadh from October 23-24, 2024. During the event, the launch of the Gulf Laboratory Technical Services Company was announced, funded by the Gulf Laboratory Company, Nusaned Investment (the investment arm of SABIC), JABEEN (owned by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu), and Motabaqah Company. The company’s activities will focus on localizing services related to testing, inspection, accreditation, consultancy, and training and certifying Saudi personnel, with an investment of 356 million riyals. This initiative supports the acceleration of Saudi Vision 2030 goals in the fields of energy and industry by empowering local industries, localizing services, creating thousands of quality jobs for qualified national talent, and building a robust knowledge-based economy.
